9/4 Laboratory Safety: Relevant Case #1
In today's class we read the case of Moore v. Order Minor Conventuals. Page 9 of your notebook is set up for Cornell style notes. Questions from the article should be written in the left hand column of the notes and the answers in the middle section. The bottom section of the notes should answer the question "Who is at fault for this accident and why".
Page 8 of your notes should bare the title "Laboratory Safety Poster". Create an original poster that could be put in the laboratory to prevent a similar accident that we read in Moore v. Order Minor Conventuals. Some ideas are, but are not limited to:
Never experiment alone
Always have adult supervision in the lab
Never mix unknown chemicals
Never do unauthorized experiments
Remember, left hand side output should be creative, include color, and represent the information from the right hand side.
