Matter and It's Properties:
The following are questions to guide you in taking notes. You will find the answers to these in the book (pg. 6-8). What is matter? What is a physical property? What are examples of physical properties? What is a physical change? What does 'change of state' mean? How do you decide if matter is a solid, liquid or gas? SUMMARY QUESTION: Write a brief paragraph that shows that you understand the following terms and the relationships between them; matter, solid, liquid, gas, volume, mass Physical vs. Chemical Changes
